UPDATES 6/2/2023:
We are pleased to share an update on the Bengal tigers, Fangio and Charly, who were rescued from an illegal breeding farm in Argentina and brought to Al Ma'wa for Nature and Wildlife sanctuary in Jordan, operated by FOUR PAWS and the Princess Alia Foundation.
After a successful 60-hour journey, both tigers underwent a thorough veterinary examination, including blood and urine samples, teeth checks, and ultrasound examinations.
Charly, the younger tiger, was also castrated, and further treatment is planned for his kidney and liver condition.
Fangio, the older tiger, has tail, ear, and claw mutilations from his time at the circus, and dental care procedures will be performed once his health stabilizes.
Join us in our commitment to providing these tigers with the necessary veterinary care and appreciate continued support for their bright and healthy future.
